Welcome to my site - I'm glad you're here!
CLICK HERE TO REDIRECTED TO MY BLOG. My blog is being updated regularly. It's easier for me to write shorter pieces, and the posting process is a breeze. Hope you like the new format!
All my "older" pieces are archived here. And if you want to join my mailing list, you still do it here:Confusing, huh? I know, sorry!

About meI'm a 40-something wife (husband Steve) and mom (daughter Kelly). Our household also includes a cat, (Purdy), and two dogs - Hercules, a mighty Border Terrier (think Benji), and his lil' bro, Shaka (also a Border Terror. I mean Terrier).
Besides mom stuff, wife stuff and household stuff, I work part-time in
our family business. Steve's a consultant – please don't ask what that
means. All I know is he's out of town a lot and when he comes home, he
brings checks.
In my former life I was a sales rep for a Fortune 500 company. Back
then, I lived a glamourous life, traveling to exciting places like
Pocatello, Idaho and Kalispell, Montana. I sold automotive parts to
repair garages and muffler shops...whooopeeee! Hard to believe I gave
up all that fame and fortune when Kelly was born. I know, I'm an
extremely unselfish person.
After
I became a mom, I started writing about the humorous side of parenting.
Where? Well, ok, it was in my journal. But only at first. Soon I was
writing for the prestigious publication, "Toddler Times," the official
rag of Kelly's entire preschool class! I had so much fun writing about
the humorous side of family life, my hubby, always supportive,
encouraged me to pursue humor writing more seriously (I think he just
wanted me out there making a buck). So here I am, years later, earning
tens of dollars as a freelance writer!
Thanks for visiting!
